- For a few days, the dressing should be dry and intact. To keep swelling and bruising to a minimum, you should wear a compression garment.
- It will take a week to feel comfortable walking around and returning to daily activities.
- Full activities such as gym, work, bicycling and running can usually be resumed four weeks after surgery.
Results:
In both procedures results are immediately seen but the final result takes 1-2 months after the swelling has subsided. The scar in implant surgery will fade with time but will not go away completely.
