Liposuction Bangalore, India

Liposuction is a procedure by which fat cells lying between the skin and muscle is removed. This fat contributes to skin fold thickness when we pinch.
Fat cells are deposited in various layers, between skin and muscle, underneath muscle, surrounding the organs inside the abdomen, etc. But liposuction address only the subcutaneous fat.
As a person puts on weight the fat cells initially become larger, then they start increasing in number by differentiation of other cells like fibroblast. As a person reduces weight, the cells shrink in size but the increased number don’t disappear. So liposuction is the only way by which we can decrease the number of cells.
Liposuction can be performed in areas such as, chin, chest, abdomen, back, buttock, arms, thighs and legs. Usually large amounts of fat is there in abdomen, thighs and buttock. When a person puts on weight, it tends to distribute more in these areas.

Indications:
  • Areas with excess fat deposits like unwanted lumps and bulges.
  • Resistant areas like beneath the chin, flanks, hips, abdomen, inner and outer thighs, knees, and lower legs. These areas don’t reduce even with weight loss.
Liposculpting is a little advanced form of Liposuction, wherein not only is the fat removed but also the particular area is given a well toned shape. The adequate curvature and contour of the particular area is restored. This is possible in well maintained individuals going for liposuction of resistant areas.
